The Parent Infant Group

The Parent Infant Group has been a huge success over the years, with families returning for subsequent series! The Parent Infant sessions take place in the ‘Savoorke’ location. The space is fully equipped with the Montessori material necessary for the development of the young child.

Every year, two series of ten weeks theory lectures are offered to families with babies from approximately four weeks to walking age. This community offers a platform where parents and their babies meet with child development specialists in a beautifully prepared environment containing child-sized equipment, toys made of natural products, small custom furniture, and ideas and information geared toward stimulating the baby’s optimal development. The child development principles can also be applied to the home environment and cover a multitude of topics such as toileting, weaning, language acquisition, the development of the brain and how to support the refinement of fine and gross motor movement skills.

The International Montessori School offers a thoroughly prepared and beautiful learning environment, supporting the complete development of children and students from the ages of 1 to 18. A bilingual approach together with the Montessori Pedagogy and the International Baccalaureate Secondary Section (IB MYP and DP) prepares children and young adults for life.



We focus on all aspects of the personality and help children to gain trust in themselves in order to feel confident and empowered, both within their social group, and the world at large. This, together with balance in freedoms and logical boundaries and the guideline that “your freedom ends where someone else’s freedom begins” helps children to become responsible individuals who look after themselves, their environment, and others!

Personalised tours are available for prospective families to see the beautiful premises and green spaces, bilingual Montessori environments and/or the multilingual IB Secondary Section in action.
