Age: from 2 ½ to 11 Years Old
Dates: Monday 1st July to Friday 5th July
Time: from 9:00 to 17:00
In our Rotselaerlaan location we welcome all curious explorers to travel with us to Africa. On the biggest continent on Earth, we find the Cradle of Human Mankind, where there is so much to discover! We make our own masks and build a traditional instrument and sing and dance together. Maybe we can taste a traditional African dish for lunch? Which animals love living in Africa? What is the biggest country and the smallest country? How do African children live? How do they travel? Which languages do they speak? Have you ever heard the “click” language – people click their tongue while speaking or singing. It exists!
And if you say “Tervuren” you say “Africa Museum”, at walking distance from our campus and an ideal destination for all young explorers. If the weather allows us, we can stop for a picknick or snack in the beautiful park of Tervuren. Who knows, we might even discover some African animals in the park...
