Premises – Unique Educational Centres
The development of the child is aided when being in a homelike environment that is aesthetically pleasing for children as well as adults. Spending a large part of their active day with us, school needs to be a place where children feel good, safe and have a sense of ownership. This is achieved by working in beautiful, unique and clean houses, decorated in an inviting manner, supplemented by the use of specially designed educational materials and child-tailored furniture
The rooms of the older students are furnished with a combination of modern furniture and antiques in order to link the past to the present. The Parent-Café named Parent–Trap offers the same cosy and relaxed atmosphere. You can choose between five different locations:

For children aged 2 to 9 years old. Two Children’s Houses and the Primary offering an extended day solution from 7.30 to 18.30 hrs.
This school caters to children aged 2 1/2 to 11 years old. Children transferring from the other centers, join the Primary section from age 6 onwards. The school is conveniently located between Brussels and Leuven, serving families from both cities. It consists of two beautiful villas which together house a Children’s House and Primary School. We offer different programs including After School Hours until 18.00 hrs.
The two villas are linked by gardens and play areas. The grounds include a large sandpit, swings, basketball area, platforms, vegetable gardens and garden houses with the necessary equipment. Having this available, the children are constantly stimulated to develop and further their gross motor skills in the areas of constructing, sports, games, circus and gardening.
Parking is available in the car park of the neighboring Carrefour Supermarket.
Bergestraat 24, Tervuren
Here we cater to children aged 14 months (walking age) to 6 years old on a full time basis.
‘Savoorke’ is an old Flemish word meaning ‘fishing pond’. The children playing in the back garden overlook one of the ponds whilst admiring Castle ‘Robiano’ as a backdrop. This centre is housed in a renovated, 200 year old farmhouse. Besides being rustic and having a lot of character, the setting is quiet and away from the daily hustle and bustle.
The ALL DAY program commences at 8:30 and continues to 18:00. A range of programs is offered, thus catering to families with working parents.
Like the other three centers, also Wezembeek- Oppem has its very own uniqueness. It can be found in a quiet cul-de-sac at walking distance from the International German School. Being the last house in the street it borders a small park and therefore allows for ample parking facilities.
We refer to this centre as the ‘Swedish Centre’ catering to children from 2 to 6 years old in two large, open and bright rooms on the ground and first floor. The children are fortunate that on a regular basis they can make use of their own gym room, which is situated in the basement of the building.
The spacious garden complements the whole set-up and allows for a range of activities such as basket- and football, gross motor skills, and gardening. And of course, lots and lots of sand.
After School hour program available until 18.00 hrs.
St. Stevens Woluwe ‘Hof Kleinenberg’
By renovating a typical Belgian rectangular farmhouse dating back to 1651 a beautiful setting for children between the ages of 2 to 19 has been created. The school consists of several Children’s Houses, the Primary section and the Secondary section with the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme. Thus providing an entry into just about any university worldwide.
The learning environments consists of open plan classrooms, a library, science lab and multifunctional space with all necessary performing arts and visual arts equipment.
Besides a lovely courtyard that brings you back in time, there is also an extensive play area with an enormous sandpit, a flying fox, see-saws, a hexagonal swingset and ample space for all sorts of games.
After School Hour programme is available for children up to age 11. The older students can play their guitars in the courtyard, soccer in an adjacent field and table tennis. The fields are occupied by the ponies Pipo and Choco who love being visited by groups of children coming down with their teachers to brush and feed them.
Woluwe Saint Lambert ‘Hof ten Berg’
The ‘Hof Kleinenberg’ school has 2 locations!
The school expanded into the Woluwe-Saint-Lambert area, just 2 minutes up the hill! The renovations of a beautiful historic farmhouse, dating back to 1750 and named ‘Hof ten Berg’, are completed!
It has become a charming and inspiring learning environment for children aged 2 to 9.
The two ‘farm schools’ – ‘Hof Kleinenberg’ and ‘Hof ten Berg’ are only 500 meters apart. Nowadays, instead of farmland, there is a retirement home and school bus parking for the European school in between the two buildings.
International Montessori ‘Hof ten Berg’ has a similar feel and interior decoration style to ‘Hof Kleinenberg’. The old features are kept and modern comfort has been added. Floor heating, natural materials, oak beams and blue stone are elements of the comfortable learning environment.
The ground-floor houses two learning environments. One classroom is specifically for the children from age 2 onwards and has an adjacent quiet room for children who still need a nap. The other learning environment is for children aged 3 to 6 and looks inviting and stimulating. Upstairs is dedicated to the primary children. There is also an office and a music room. A garden and walled in playground provides areas for practical life, play, gardening and games.
The After School Hour Program is available at this location until 18:30 hrs.
