Due to the rich history, the park, and the impressive African Museum, Tervuren is well known. Tervuren can be found halfway between the university city of Leuven and the centre of Brussels; 15 minutes either way. The school is situated in two beautiful villas. Ample parking is available.
International Montessori ‘Savoorke’ is found near the centre of the Tervuren village in a green area of parks and fishing ponds. It is a quaint renovated farmhouse that used to belong to the adjacent ‘Robiano’ castle.
Both the villages of Sterrebeek and Wezembeek-Oppem are located to the northeast of Tervuren at a similar distance to Brussels, but ten minutes closer to the international airport Zaventem and close to the E40. Both schools have ample parking and an additional gym-room used for gross motor activities.
The school ‘Hof Kleinenberg’ is situated close to the section of the E40 that goes directly into Brussels and ends at the Charlemagne building and European Parliament. It is situated off the Avenue de Woluwe that continues to the Woluwe Shopping Centre. This location of ‘International Montessori’ is housed in a historic rectangular farm situated opposite the European School of Sint Lambrechts Woluwe. Public transport is available and much used by the Secondary students.
