“What objects float in water, and what objects sink? Let’s try this out ourselves, and categorise them into separate bowls.” The ‘sink and float experiment’ is a popular activity in the Children’s House Sensorial area. Children enjoy working with water, and there is so much to discover! For example, who needs water to live? Are there musical instruments that work with water? How did our great-great parents get their water into the house without pipes and indoor plumbing?
Today, the children will explore water using all their senses in the beautiful Water Museum of Ottignies. They will come back with answers to all the questions mentioned above and many more of course!
