Premises

savoorkeThe development of the child is aided when being in a homelike environment that is aesthetically pleasing for children as well as adults. Spending a large part of their active day with us, school needs to be a place where children feel good, safe and have a sense of ownership. This is achieved by working in beautiful, unique and clean houses, decorated in an inviting manner, supplemented by the use of specially designed educational materials and child-tailored furniture.

The rooms of the older students are furnished with a combination of modern furniture and antiques in order to link the past to the present. The Parent-Café named Parent–Trap offers the same cosy and relaxed atmosphere. You can choose between four different locations:

Tervuren

bannerThis school caters to children aged 3 to 16 years old. Children transferring from the other centers, join the Primary section from age 6 onwards. It consists of two beautiful villas which together house a Children's House, Primary and Middle School. We offer different programs including After School Hours until 17.15 hrs.

The two villas are linked by gardens and play areas. The grounds include a large sandpit, swings, basketball area, platforms, vegetable gardens and garden houses with the necessary equipment. Having this available, the children are constantly stimulated to develop and further their gross motor skills in the areas of constructing, sports, games, circus and gardening.

Parking is available in the car park of the
neighboring GB Supermarket.

Savoorke

Bergestraat 24, Tervuren

savoorke Here we cater to children aged 15 months (walking age) to 6 years old on a full time basis.

‘Savoorke’ is an old Flemish word meaning ‘fishing pond’. The children playing in the back garden overlook one of the ponds whilst admiring Castle ‘Robiano’ as a backdrop. This centre is housed in a renovated, 200 year old farmhouse. Besides being rustic and having a lot of character, the setting is quiet and away from the daily hustle and bustle.

The ALL DAY program commences at 8:00 and continues to 18:00. A range of programs is offered, thus catering to families with working parents.

Sterrebeek

garden In Sterrebeek we also cater to children from 15 months to 6 years old.

Like in ‘Savoorke’, the children are divided into two groups, being the Toddler Community and the Children’s House.

Here the program finishes at 15:15. Children who do make use of the After School Hour Program are brought over to Tervuren by means of school bus.

The Children’s Centre is housed in a large converted villa that has been adapted to the needs of the children whilst maintaining the natural charm of the house. Decorations, child sized furniture together with a wide range of activities make it altogether just right for the young child. Set away form the road, the parking lot is at the front whilst at the back you’ll find a nice playground consisting of a sandpit, a swing and slide set, climbing frames, a vegetable patch and several flower gardens.

Wezembeek-Oppem

Molenweg 4

sports Like the other three centers, also Wezembeek-Oppem has its very own uniqueness. It can be found in a quiet cul-de-sac at walking distance from the International German School. Being the last house in the street it borders a small park and therefore allows for ample parking facilities.

We refer to this centre as the ‘Swedish
Centre’ catering to children from 2 to 6 years old in two large, open and bright rooms on the ground and first floor. The children are fortunate that on a regular basis they can make use of their own gym room, which is situated in the basement of the building.

The spacious garden complements the whole set-up and allows for a range of activities such as basket- and football, gross motor skills, and gardening. And of course, lots and lots of sand.
