Middle School Students in Rome
The Middle School Students in Rome, Belgium
Rome is much closer than you would expect. Only one and a half hour from Brussels... No, not with Ryan Air, just by bus!
From January 21 to 23, the Middle School organised their first trip in Rome, Durbuy in the Ardennes. Three of the boys, Vincent Lorent., Vincent Siemers and Thomas Timmermans, had decided to take the group to a sport and teambuilding outing, and so had chosen Durbuy Adventures as a base.
What an adventure indeed: mountainbiking (8 or 20 km), rock-climbing up to 42 meters, a parcours challenger where you walk on tight ropes in the tree tops and a 7.5-kilometer treasure hunt in the woods.
All activities that created fun and strong team-work. In the evening the middle-schoolers could relax around the fire, grilling marshmallows, playing cards and games or telling stories and riddles before going for a good night sleep (sometimes windy!) in their tipis!
A well-balanced and organised trip, entirely funded by the Middle School's benefits after the car washes and the Christmas market café. Ready to go again!
