A Christmas Dinner for Forty
As part of the Middle School student’s technology course they regularly cooka light lunch for themselves and a Children’s House class two times per week.
If this were not enough of a challenge, they upped the ante by organising a
holiday dinner for themselves and their families. The meal featured an elegantly
presented appetizer, three roasted turkeys (over 17 kilos of bird), stuffing, potatoes,
cranberry sauce, vegetables, and a gourmet dessert of Bouche de Noel.
The tables were exquisitely dressed, the service was high class, and entertainment
was even provided in the form of guitar playing and joke telling. It was a wonderful
evening for the students, the teachers, and their families.
