International Montessori School

     The International Montessori School is an
     authorised IBO World School!
     Since applying for the Candidate status in
     2005, we decided to take on the enormous
     task and entered the process of
     authorization. After three years of hard
     work, the Middle School section has
     become accredited by this highly
     respected and internationally
     acknowledged IBO Middle Year
     Program.





Montessori education is very compatible to this world wide recognized form of secondary education. Students entering our school at a young age are in the fortunate position to complete both their primary and middle school education in an ongoing individualized and international fashion until the age of sixteen.


Being the first school in Belgium offering the IBO MYP program, students are fully prepared to continue and finalise the two-year pre-university course, the Diploma Program, in one of the 2400 schools in 128 countries. Several of these high schools can be found in Brussels. Upon successful completion the students receive an International Baccalaureate Diploma.


Students are also well prepared to continue their education in a Belgian high school, the European School, or finalizing the A levels within the British system of education.
International Montessori currently has graduates in all of these systems. We also have graduates in Universities around the World studying for degrees ranging from art and agriculture to business and management.


Being a World School really means helping in the development of World citizens.
