Materials for Burkina Faso

Middle School creates School Materials
for a Montessori School in Burkina Faso

Our Middle School students have recently been active creating and making Montessori classroom materials for a school which is opening in Burkina Faso. 

Burkina Faso is a small country located in northwestern Africa with several border countries including Ghana and Niger.  The school is currently in the building stages and is progressing along quickly.  The school needs many materials including Montessori specific teaching tools.  

The Middle Schoolers made puzzles, nomenclature cards, and matching games.  All of these materials were made in French, as this is Burkina Faso's official language.  

A box full of hand and custom-made materials were sent out in the beginning part of January.
